NDUMO GAME RESERVE - ACCOMMODATION
Ndumo Camp provides seven twin-bed chalets situated in a parkland setting under spreading
marula trees. The camp enjoys spectacular easterly views across the Phongolo River floodplain and
nestles comfortably into the serene tropical landscape. A sparkling swimming pool provides coolness
in the heat of the day and a well-equipped kitchen and self-catering facilities are
available.
A camp cook provides excellent meals from the food provided by the guests. Guided open-vehicle
safaris are offered around the pristine pans and day walks and specialist birding walks are led by
extremely knowledgeable guides who are specialists at finding that elusive bird missing from the
avid birders life list. The chalets at Ndumo have been upgraded to provide a more comfortable stay
for visitors. They are now equiped with airconditioning units and have had a varandah added in the
front. They are each equipped with a fridge and a cold water hand basin.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please note that
NDUMO CHALETS AND CAMPSITES HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY CLOSED until 31 October 2007,
due to drought conditions. CURRENT BOOKINGS will be honoured and water will be supplied for these
customers. An alternative water supply is being investigated and the camp will
re-open when this is resolved. Customers may e-mail or fax their accommodation requests for
August, September and October, to Thuthukani on FAX 0865058889 if they wish to. These will be
filed in the "Waitlist" file, and attended to when the camp re-opens.
