There is no public office but information and bird lists are obtainable from the
duty ranger at the entrance gate.

Night game viewing drives are offered with prior reservations essential. These popular drives
cover habitats in the reserve and open up completely different experience to the visitor.
Reservations can be made by either telephoning the Officer-in-Charge at(031) 469 2807 or by
completing the reservations register at the entrance gate.
How to get there:
From Old South Coast road, turn into Kenyon Howden road and follow to Yellowwood Park. The
route is well sign-posted to the reserve once in Yellowwood Park.

Pets are not permitted into the reserve.
"No entry fees will be charged for visits by KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Primary and Secondary School
groups, from KZN Schools to KZN Protected Areas and St Lucia Crocodile Centre provided that such
visits:
1. are authorised by the Head of the school
2. are booked in advance with the Officer in Charge of the Protected Area or Crocodile Centre
3. do not take place over weekends, during KZN Provincial school holidays or Public
Holidays".
Facilities for people with disabilities:
There is a very well designed trail for people with disabilities as well as a picnic
site.
