GREATER ST LUCIA WETLAND PARK - CHARTER'S CREEK CAMP SITE

Charters Creek Campsite is a spectacularly situated tucked into the wooded western shoreline of Lake St Lucia. Charters Creek is surrounded by some of the most exceptional and beautiful wetlands in Southern Africa and is the perfect place for a break from a pressured lifestyle. The camp is a favourite destination of anglers and birdwatchers and an ideal base for relaxation and bird watching.  

Nearby attractions include Hluhluwe - Imfolozi Park, Mkhuze Game Reserve and the St Lucia Estuary, each an hour's drive away. Boat tours onto Lake St Lucia have been suspended until further notice due to the low water level of the lake. The campsite has ten large comfortable shady sites that can accommodate both tents and caravans. The electrified campsites share hot and coldwater taps, barbecue facilities and plug points. The ablution facility provides hot and cold running water, flush toilets and showers.
