Cobham, Garden Castle and Vergelegen are set in the scenic southern section of the
uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park.The area around Cobham boasts some of the finest rock art sites south
of the Didima Valley and the five day Giant's Cup Hiking trail starts near Sani Pass, north of
Cobham
The camping ground at Cobham is rustic with informal sites spread over an open area scattered
with trees. Cold water taps, barbecue facilities, firewood, charcoal and other basic supplies are
available. Toilet facilities and hot showers are provided and campers may swim in the scenic river
below the campsite.

Vergelegen features basic overnight camping facilities and good river trout fishing. Here you
can find the closest hiking route to Thabana Ntlenyana, the highest mountain peak south of
Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Garden Castle has ten picturesque camping sites. The sites are serviced by a communal ablution
block, have hot and cold showers, toilets and barbeque facilities. A small curio shop that sells
basic groceries, is close by. Pleasant day walks, including the well known Rhino Peak walk, can be
enjoyed within the Reserve.
