TO ALL HUNTING OUTFITTERS/PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS
LICENSED IN KZN
This is to notify you that certain changes are taking place in the Hunting Division of
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.
Stoffel de Jager, the Natural Resources Trade Manager, is taking early retirement, and his
last working day will be 31 October 2007.
Jean Wagner is transferring to another division within Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, as from 1
November 2007.
Both posts will be advertised within the organisation, but until such time as they are filled,
the office will not be manned.
Hunting packages: Rahman Devduth will be taking over the sales and marketing of hunting
packages in our controlled hunting areas. Please address all related queries to
him. Karuna Bridgemohun will deal with any hunting package payment queries.
Hunting registers and export permits: The ladies in the Permit Office will be able to
deal with certain professional hunting issues, such as hunting registers, hunting rights, trophy
export permits etc. If they are unable to solve the query, it will be directed to Mr Bheki
Khoza.
Professional hunting licensing: will be done by the Organisation as best as possible, and
so if your licenses expire within the next couple of months, please could we ask that you submit
your complete and correct renewal applications timeously so that these can be processed when
possible. A copy of the relevant application forms are attached for your ease of
reference.
KZN professional hunting exams: The final exams this year will therefore be Monday 29
th October 2007, and thereafter there will be no further examinations until further
notice.
Please direct any other queries regarding hunting in the Province to Mr Bheki Khoza, Executive
Director Biodiversity Conservation.
