ITHALA GAME RESERVE - ACCOMMODATION - THALU BUSH CAMP

 
On the edge of the Thalu River next to rapids and clear pools, the camp nestles under large trees and the nearby red cliffs echo to the strident calls of the Natal francolin.Swim in the pools as the rivers in Ithala are belhazia free, walk with the field ranger down the Thalu river through beautiful unspoilt country where visitors can see a variety of birds and animals including half collered kingfishers, crowned eagles and majestic waterbuck.
Thalu accommodates four people in two bedrooms seperated by a lounge kitchen and viewing deck. An attendant services the camp and a field ranger is available by prior arrangement to take guests on bush walks. Ithala is a malaria free area which makes it an ideal place to see africa's wildlife.
