Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife has decided to close the Didima camp in the Cathedral Peak area of the Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site from 18 -25 March 2008 due to the ongoing unrest amongst the two communities along the route to the Camp.... more

KZN Wildlife`s wonderful range of protected areas from the mountains to the sea

In the one hundred years of formal conservation in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, the various departments and statuary organisations that evolved into today`s KZN Wildlife have received many formal awards and words of praise for the quality of their service to conservation and for the high standard of management of the province's natural resources

It has been internationally recognised for white rhino and sea turtle conservation and for its community conservation outreach programmes.
The iSimangaliso Wetland Park (Greater St Lucia Wetland Park) and the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park have been declared World Heritage Sites. 
The iSimangaliso Wetland Park along with uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park and Ndumo, are wetlands of international importance listed as RAMSAR sites.
Locally, the Southern African Crane Foundation, Timeless Africa and the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry have recognised the organisation's contribution to crane conservation, tourism and the Working for Water Project.

If you are wanting to find out about HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS then click on ECO-TOURISM, then ALL ACCOMMODATION, on each of the pages you will find all the relevant information accessible from a menu on the left hand side; you will be able to see images of the camp, prices and bookings, types of accommodation, activities and vital information

When filling in a booking enquiry form, you will be asked to Log In, which is a once off procedure. 
Once you have registered your details, these will be automatically entered into the form everytime you make a reservation enquiry through the website.
