Please note that Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife’s booking system will be updated to be in line with the Payment Association of South Africa and the First National Bank requirements. These changes will be effected from the beginning of March 2015 and will require customers to undertake a two stage payment process where the bank will send them a “One time Pin” via an SMS or email that they will need to enter in order to finalise their booking. Should you experience any challenges duringthis period, please email your booking requirements to email@example.com. Alternatively please fax it to 086 505 8889. We anticipate that the updated booking system will be fully operational again by the end of March 2015.
We are also encouraging visitors that are wanting to book accommodation in our resorts in early March to make use of the current process before the change over on the 1st March 2015.
Please note that between 16h30 and 18h00, on the 25th of Feb 2015, the web booking portal for bookings.kznwildlife.com will be offline for maintenance. In addition, we ask for your patience during the course of the weekend. Should the site be offline, our technicians will be making every effort to bring it back online as soon as possible. Many thanks in advance.
Magnificent Bearded Vulture in decline from lead bullets and poison baits!
People often query the impact of the individual effort. What can be achieved when conservation confronts weighty macro impacts such as development, harmful agricultural practices, traditional medicine usage etc.?
The horrors and demands of rhino poaching aside, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife demonstrated many acts of passion and professionalism during 2014 that again fulfilled the belief the organisation remains at the very forefront of a number of conservation disciplines in South Africa.
The collection of people said a great deal. At a time when social gatherings of conservation staff are rare, 60-odd friends and colleagues came from throughout KZN - Underberg, Tembe Elephant Park, Durban, Pietermaritzburg and the South Coast - to bid Ed Ostrosky farewell.
